It was a busy weekend for my SCA household and some of our friends from Black Creek, BC. We gathered in my craft room to produce over 500 fabric pennons to give as [. . . ]
On the weekend the kids and I spent an enjoyable day with our medieval friends at our annual SCA event called Daffodil Tournament. There were games and contests and prizes. There was court, and archery, and [. . . ]
One enjoyable aspect of the SCA is learning new skills and teaching them to others. Getting recognition from the Prince and Princess for my efforts in this was unexpected and humbling. At our recent Principality Arts & Sciences Championship I was entered into Tir Righ’s Ordre de l’Etoile d’Argent . I thank those who found me worthy of recommendation.
