This Thanksgiving I was grateful to have fourteen family and friends brave enough to partake of my first ever Turkey Dinner. It was a success!
One enjoyable aspect of the SCA is learning new skills and teaching them to others. Getting recognition from the Prince and Princess for my efforts in this was unexpected and humbling. At our recent Principality Arts & Sciences Championship I was entered into Tir Righ’s Ordre de l’Etoile d’Argent . I thank those who found me worthy of recommendation.
The annual Highland Fling on Sept 6th at the Caleb Pike Heritage Park was a nice celebration with lots of good music and great company! And it was fun seeing what went home with whom!
