Having outgrown his slippers my son begged me to make him another pair for Christmas.
I knit a basic sock in his favourite green Paton’s Classic Wool with Storm in the Attic’s clever elf toe construction.
Knitting an extra layer for the sole gives the slippers thick cushy bottoms that won’t wear through.
Nålbinding around the cuff adds a nice touch.
A little free hand embroidery for whimsy . . .
. . . and they are ready for fulling.
